Remove XP default wallpapers

Introduction

Windows XP default wallpapers are the wallpapers you see in the display properties dialog box.

What are windows XP default wallpapers?

  • Right click on you desktop, now click desktop tab
  • Now in the background section, you will see files named- Ascent, Autumn, Azul, bliss, blue lace 16, coffee bean, etc.

These are the windows XP default wallpapers which are used as the background for the desktop.

How to do it

1. Navigate to: C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

2. Now delete all the files you see in the wallpaper folder


Results

Now you have deleted all the windows XP default wallpapers. You can check it on the properties. To check-
1. Right click on you desktop, now click desktop tab
2. Now in the background section, you will see files named- Ascent, Autumn, Azul, bliss, blue lace 16, coffee bean, etc. have vanished because you deleted them.
